Usually, several layers of cotton or nylon cloth are wrapped on the surface of the cot, and then fixed and pressurized with steel wire or fiber rope.


Preparation of rubber compound for industrial Cots

After the rubber mixture reaches uniform mixing, it is necessary to filter the rubber with a rubber filter to eliminate the impurities in the rubber compound. Then, the calender, extruder and laminating machine are used to make films or strips without bubbles and impurities for forming cots. Before molding, keep fresh surface to prevent adhesion and extrusion deformation, and strictly inspect the appearance of these films and adhesive strips. There should be no impurities and bubbles on the surface of the film and rubber strip, otherwise sand holes may appear when grinding the surface after vulcanization.

The rubber content is 25% - 85%, and the hardness is 0-90 degree, which spans a wide range. The conventional method is to use an open mixer to mix and process in the form of a variety of master compounds.
